Lamia Beuque graduated from the High Music School in Lausanne, Switzerland.

 

She made her first steps on the lyric stages singing Lazuli from L'Etoile by Chabrier in Fribourg, then sang Mirabelle from Les Aventures du Roi Pausole and The Kitchen Boy from Rusalka at the Grand-Théâtre in Geneva.

She was a member of the Opera-Studio at the Opéra national du Rhin (2013-2015) where she took part in several staged productions such as Aladin et la Lampe Magique by Rota, La Colombe by Gounod, Il Matrimonio Segreto by Cimarosa, Ariane et Barbe-Bleue by Dukas and Pénélope by Fauré.

 

In the past few seasons, she sang Angelina from La Cenerentola (Tenerife, Clermont-Ferrand, Bari, and on tour in the Paris region), Isabella from L’Italiana in Algeri (Ticino Musica Festival, Innsbruck, Heilbronn), Rosina from Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Bari), Maffio Orsini from Lucrezia Borgia (Bologna), Adalgisa from Norma (Tenerife), Lola from Cavalleria Rusticana (Strasbourg, Saint-Etienne) and the title-role in Mignon by Ambroise Thomas (Innsbruck). She also sang Nicklausse / La Muse from Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Annio from La Clemenza di Tito and Orlofsky from Die Fledermaus, roles which took her to Spain and Switzerland. More recently, she sang Dorabella from Così fan tutte and Mallika from Lakmé in Innsbruck and The Kitchen Boy from Rusalka in Metz.

She sang under the baton of such conductors as Daniele Callegari, Bruno Campanella, Renato Palumbo, Diego Fasolis and took part in staged productions by Damiano Michieletto, Olivier Desbordes, Pier Liugi Pizzi and Olivier Py…

 

She regularly sings recitals (Art-Song and Lieder) with pianist Laurent Martin. Together, they recorded the complete cycle of Russian Melodies by Pauline Viardot, released in September 2021 for the label Ligia and they have been regularly touring this program in recital ever since.

 

During season 2023-2024, she sings Isolier from Le Comte Ory in Bologna, the takes over the role of The Kitchen Boy from Rusalka in Reims and sings the role of Vlasta from Die Passagierin by Weinberg in Mainz.
